A H Engineering (NE) Ltd is a family owned business which was established in 1986 and employs 30 individuals.
The Company’s sphere of activity covers tool making, presswork, precision engineering, sheet metal work, general fabrication, welding, manufacture of guards, enclosures etc.
A sub section of A H Engineering specialises in the manufacture of luminaries, lead assembles and sub assemblies with Clare Testing Facilities.
Assessment and registration is undertaken by The National Quality Assurance Limited under the provisions of current BS EN ISO 9001.

The Company is committed to constantly improving its own industry standing and technical prowess. Continuous evaluation of technical innovations and advances with potential to improve product to benefit the Company and its customers constantly takes place through study of the technical press, visits to trade fairs, contact with suppliers and other similar companies. Employees continually improve their skills and knowledge attending refresher courses etc. at local technical colleges. There is strong commitment to upgrading all plant, machinery, calibration and measuring equipment to the highest standards.
During the last few years a new LVD CNC Press Brake, which uses the CAD Cam System of Production, and a new Guillotine Lathe have been purchased and installed. The Company is currently evaluating the feasibility of acquiring CNC Laser Cutting equipment and a Powder Coating Plant.
A new arrival in 2013 is a Hurco CNC Lathe together with a Hydrafeed Barfeeder. These machines have been purchased to allow the company to further expand into the precision turning sector.
In 2010 an Amada CNC 51 ST Turret Punch Press was purchased to cope with increased work and also as part of our continual improvement plan.
